I've been painting since I was very young. The medium that I prefer is oils. My subjects are quite varied, from portraits to landscapes. My sister was a very talented artist too in poetry and oil paintings. She has won awards in Manhattan for her work. She used only the 3 primary colors and white, mixing them herself for effect. My husband took up art with me when he retired and has become an accomplished artist, using pastels. His subjects are also varied and very interesting.
